Perth to Mackay for Epiroc at QME

Epiroc asked us back to Mackay for QME — two days on the ground, capturing the machines, the conversations and the people behind them.
Epiroc were bringing the Pit Viper 276 to the Australian market for the first time, at the Queensland Mining Expo in Mackay. A machine only debuts once, so we flew over with two crew and got to work early — hero shots before the crowds arrived, then the day itself: customers on the stand, the team talking through the machine, the detail that makes a drill rig look like the engineering it is.
Epiroc’s social was running live through the event, so the first images were back with them within a couple of hours of doors opening. They came away with a full photography library and two highlight cuts.
Knowing their products and their people is what makes a turnaround like that possible.
